my daughter is advancing in her riding lessons, and loving it! I love being in amongst the horses that roam around this property while she is riding. They come up to me, lean on me, get me to scratch their backs.
I know of no better relaxation, apart from the sea. :)

DeleteHorses and the ocean - you can't get much better than that. I planned to ride horseback along the Alaskan coastline one year but that week just happened to be the one in which the small business shut down to go subsistence fishing! Oh, well. If I get to enjoy some squirrels romping in the skiff of snow on the ground this morning, I'll be content.
